18. Hillary can't win.
Even if she gets the nomination, black people won't support her in the numbers that she will need to win. She and Bill painted themselves into a corner.

Obama is only damaged because Hillary won't recognize that she's finished and let the rest of us get on with the general election. Instead she has to keep hammering at him. Some Democrat she turned out to be.

28. "The Clintons never lose."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Clinton#Early_political_career

After graduating from Yale Law School, Clinton returned to Arkansas and became a University of Arkansas law professor. A year later, he ran for the House of Representatives in 1974. The incumbent, John Paul Hammerschmidt, defeated Clinton with 52% of the vote.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkansas_gubernatorial_election%2C_1980

The Arkansas gubernatorial election of 1980 was only that state's second election since Reconstruction when a Republican candidate won governorship, and the first in which an incumbent was defeated.

One-term Democratic Governor of Arkansas Bill Clinton was narrowly defeated by Republican Frank D. White, which made him, as he joked, "the youngest ex-governor in the nation".

As soon as I called him out on it he removed them.

They were a bunch of google bomb links embedded in hillaryis44.org to a hacked Washington state University server that was forwarding links with drug names, to a shady looking canadian pharmacy site.

about 30 minutes later all of these links were removed.

29. Zogby's poll yesterday says the exact opposite!

http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1490

Clinton vs. the field:
-------------------
44% - McCain
34% - Clinton
3% - Nader
4% - Barr
16% - Not sure/someone else

Obama vs. the field:
-------------------
42% - McCain
45% - Obama
1% - Nader
3% - Barr
8% - Not sure/someone else

So we have one poll (this AP poll) that doesn't include the other candidates in it that says one thing, and Zogby says the other.

We have the voters in the states so far voting mostly for Obama, and it showing up as greater numbers of delegates for him. Panic time? HELL NO!

We need to distinguish propaganda from the media trying to fear monger us into their choice vs. real, hard data.

These polls are just speculation at this point. We shouldn't be voting based on them. We should be voting on who we feel would best lead our country.

So far, most of those voters have voted for McCain (in contests that have provided a level playing field for voters).

We are not in a recession, oil will not exceed 45 dollars a barrel, mccain would NOT be the republican nominee, there is no global warming, plus all the rest of the dribble that has been coming out of them for the past 12 plus years

Yep, Edwards was their target when there were three Dems left...
Now it is Obama with two. It will be Hillary when there is one.

They go after their least desirable candidate first. With Edwards, it was about keeping his stances on issues alive to keep him in the race (not so much he himself getting nominated). In the case of Obama, he IS the more popular choice by the votes and delegate counts to be our candidate. Using this false indicator that he'd be "less likely to win" by the manipulative media polls is something we shouldn't allow to blind us of our choices.

19. Hillary
http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/hendrikhertzberg/2008/04/after-pennsylva.html
Hillary Clinton has not, in fact, survived the worst that the Republican attack machine (and its pilotless drones online and on talk radio) can dish out. We will learn what the worst really means if she is nominated. The Commie law firm will be only the beginning. Many tempting targets—from Bill’s little-examined fund-raising and business activities during the past seven years to the prospect of his hanging around the White House in some as yet undefined role for another four or eight years to whatever leftovers from the Clinton “scandals” of the nineteen-nineties can be retrieved from the dumpster and reheated—remain to be machine-gunned. The whole Clinton marital soap opera, obviously off limits within the Democratic fold, will offer ample material for what Obama calls “distractions.” To take the most obvious example, the former President’s social life since leaving the White House will become, if not “fair game,” big game—and some of these right-wing dirtbags are already hiring bearers and trying on pith helmets for the safari. Is this a “there” where the Democratic Party really wants to go?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Barack Obama attracing 46% of the vote while John McCain earns 44%. In a match-up with Hillary Clinton, it’s Clinton 46% McCain 45%.

The Democratic Presidential Nomination remains stable. It’s Obama 49%, Clinton 41%

Do you think he should suspend his campaign? Or just concede?? Why didn't Hillary do that when she's been losing for the past 6 weeks in those polls?? We had to wait for this one AP poll? Makes sense. Please forward your poll and your concern to his campaign headquarters, attn: David Axelrod. They'll be glad you saved them from this HUGE embarrassment!
