Arrests of anti-Bush* protesters in WV
Edited on Thu Jul-08-04 07:57 PM by doc03
I caught the end of a local talk radio topic about arrests of anti-Bush protesters in Charleston WV. I didn't see anything on DU about this. The one caller I heard said her and her husband were wearing anti-Bush T-shirts and a WV State Trooper turned them away from the event threatening to arrest them. They asked what for and he said "I don't need a reason". I just wondered if anyone else had any information on this.

4. The Repub talk show host said to the caller that it was an official visit
and it was not appropriate to be wearing T-shirts with a political statement but she didn't see anything wrong with the people that had Bush T-shirts or signs. Typical Repup logic I guess. This b---- that is a wife of a doctor and is always talking about medical malpractice
insurance costs, doesn't understand why there is so much hate for this President. I don't know where the hell she was when Clinton was in office?

7. Are you listening
to radio in Wheeling? If you are we're not located far apart.

E-mail me and I will share some stories about the greedy repuke b----.

It's a shame we can't get that station to run Air America instead.

5. Yeah, I read about it in a link on Buzzflash yesterday
4th paragraph down:
"Two Bush opponents, taken out of the crowd in restraints by police, said they were told they couldn't be there because they were wearing shirts that said they opposed the president."
