Obama cannot waste his time explaining someone else's words.
He could have made another careful, nuanced speech- if it were worth it. But its not. Wright exploited his relationship with Obama, and Obama put an end to it.

1. I agree, and now he has to get on with the campaign and get over this...
I would suggest that this might have been one of the hardest things he has had to do in this entire campaign.

3. I wouldn't be so sure
if there was not some sort of a conclusion made between camp Obama and Reverend Wright that this had to be.

7. That same thought crossed my mind. I would bet they spoke about it.
Rev. Wright probably, just being himself, meant Sen. Obama no harm, but he sorely underestimated the hateful media. I would bet money he apologized to Sen. Obama and told him to do what he had to do.

Of course, there are the media and the haters salivating...they would love to see the two of them go back and forth. I don't think it's that way at all.
