New PPP Indiana poll Clinton +8....Clinton +1 in Gallup daily tracking
Edited on Tue Apr-29-08 02:20 PM by Secret_Society
It seems that Clinton has made significant movement since PA and the Rev. Wright "spectacle." We will see if Obama denunciation of him came in time. Though, IMO, I think it has been played too much. Many voters will not disconnect the in their minds.

2. I said earlier yesterday his candidacy is essentially over; Hillary will
win Indiana by 8pts. and NC by 2pts.

3. I think you nailed it. That sounds very likely.
When he loses North Carolina, it's O-vah.

5. Even if this happens (which it won't) Hillary still can't win. She won't get the delegates, its a
nice dream you have, but thats really all it is.

20. Unless hillary gets 69% of the votes in ALL the remaining contests, she never begins
Obama needs only about 40% of the vote from here on in. And he's ten points up in NC.

4. An upset in NC would end it
That is essentially why this race has ended...There has been no upset in a state that demographically favors another. No momentum or no reason for either to quit. Always another favorable primary in the future.

if she loses NC, then you agree it's over for Hillary?

sad to see DU has dropped to this level.
Hillary supporters still think she can win.

Obama gained 4 SD's today.

16. Then why did PPP have Obama +3 in PA
if they underestimate his advantage among AAs.

12. Granted, PPP has been awful this season...
It does match up nicely with the SUSA poll from yesterday.

And Clinton +1 today means last night's polling was not good for Obama...

This is PPP's first Indiana poll. Gallup has been virtually tied for many days now.
