Poll question: When it comes down to it, do you support Obama or Wright?
Gee, let's think about this for a moment, I think I support Senator Obama. And you?

I support both
Because I understand good people can come to erroneous conclusions, and that a few wild statements isn't the whole of what a person is, but that this country is just too juvenile to accept that and that's what Obama is stuck with.

3. I am disappointed Obama came out against Wright
Edited on Tue Apr-29-08 03:09 PM by Cali_Democrat
Wright said nothing on Friday, Sunday or Monday to warrant this kind of media outrage. He was brilliant on Moyers and at the NAACP. His Monday performance was a bit disconcerting.

However, I am a little angry that Obama had to throw Wright under the bus today. He had no choice because of the endless media coverage. America just isn't ready for a person who speaks the truth like Wright.

I will continue to donate to Obama and support him 100%. However, I am a little disappointed in him today. Of course I can't agree with everything Obama says.

13. I wouldn't be surprised if Sen. Obama and Rev. Wright spoke about
this hullabaloo, and both agreed he'd have to say what he did.

4. Whaaaa happened? Has a flip flop taken place?
In the past an awful lot of Obama supporters were praising Wright and Obama's support for him. Remember the cheers that he didn't throw him under the bus...well now he has...and rightly so. What took him so long?...it's bad for our party. Glad you people finally see the light.

6. If I lived in Chicago, and was looking for a church, I'd hope to find someone like Rev. Wright.
But right now, I'm looking for a President who can begin to heal this country. And Barack Obama will be that President.

12. Why?
Two factions have emerged among Obama supporters on DU, those that are on Obama's side in this dispute and those that are on Wright's side.
