Bitterly, but audaciously, I cling to Obama |
|
Bitter, because I hate to see yet another great Democratic candidate flattened by the cynical media juggernaut. These fawning, empty sycophants who led us to war are about the last people in the world I am setting up as my moral guardians.
Audacious, because I am not letting it affect me personally. I just don't care about Rev. Wright. It doesn't affect MY vote. It may affect the votes of others. So be it. I will not let the false idol of electability sway me from the only vote I have any control over - my own.
I'm clinging, because he remains my raft of hope for a better world. I still believe that he is by far the best person in the race.

8. I got the cure for your bitterness |
|
I spent the day knocking on doors canvassing for Obama and no one I talk to today mentioned Rev. Wright. Yes, the pundits need something to talk about. Yes the Clinton campaign will try to find an issue to grab some votes but as far as I've seen voters are more concerned about real issues, not these distractions.
Your right to cling to that hope, but if you need to recharge your faith in the average American, do some phone banking or volunteer work.

I will look for the Obama campaign in my area and volunteer. Thanks. I was ready to hear your message. How nice that your work recharges your faith. That's exactly what I need.

12. The most thoughful, reasoned and nuanced candidate |

Sorry he doesn't fit into sound bites.
I'd love to see the corporate pundits just fall on their asses as no one gives a flying F!@# about their manufactured outrages.

STAND behind our guy. Chest out.
We hang together, else we'll hang separately.
Be proud to be in this fight - and never forget that it's a fight!
Parade comes later.
Win fight first.
Fire yourself up!
GOBAMA - and GO MIDDLE CLASS!
