His Dad took off and Wright helped fill that emotional void.

It must be tough.

Wonder if the Mediawhores could at least consider that.

Sending healing-vibes out tonight. To all in need.

35. OH MY! I have the vapors!
All these *tears* (GAG!)

How the F do you pantywaists think you'll make it through the general election against the repukes when you already have your big briefs in a twist over Hillary and are already *crying* handwringing, crapping pants, etc in the primaries?

God my own party is an embarrasment...please at least pretend to grow a set because this is nauseating.

11. It's hard to believe that these two men who have had to deal with
the white media for their entire careers didn't see this coming as soon as Obama went national. They are both brilliant and they both have a good sense of humor. And they both know what filthy pigs the corporate media can be. Neither of them chose to be florists. This kind of stuff comes with the turf they chose.

Obama will be fine.

12. That's sweet of you! I think he'll be fine; he doesn't suffer fools, I'm
thinking, especially when he's been 'played'. I'm sure he feels cheated, too. He can't be happy, but he's probably angry. Or he's just moving on, eye on the prize.

13. Yeah, I've considered that tonight, too.
I still think most of the speech at the NAACP dinner was pretty amazing.

And I haven't seen the whole Press Club bit - but what I've heard? Oh boy. Wow. How do you do that to someone?

Is he really just so interested in clearing his name enough to sell books in the fall?

Poor Obama - this is a messy mess now for him!

And all of this has exactly nothing to do with his qualifications to be president... just distractions. And that's maybe the worst part.

14. Michelle is there for him. I'm sure she is very supportive right now.
This was all just a tempest in a teapot. He was right. This was a distraction from the real problems of the American people. And when this blows over something else will be the cause celebre of the MSM. And rest assured it will be equally inane and trivial. Of the 24 hours in a day probably 1 hour is filled with actual news. The other 23 are talking heads yapping about bullshit. And we all watch it like it's news.
Obama was cheated out of a real father as a kid and now his former pastor embarrassed him at the most crucial point in his life. Yeah. I'd be pissed too.
Rev Wright is nothing but a selfish megalomaniac.

After weeks of reading drivel by the same Nader like assholes that brought the country George W bush ... I have revealed myself as a person who objects to
DUMB ASSED CANDIDATES WHO CANNOT WIN A GENERAL ELECTION AND THEIR IDIOT KOOL AID DRINKING FOLLOWERS WHO ARE SCREWING US ALL!

I guess that makes me a *non-progressive* in YOUR book (bring on the bongos, mimes, nudes, old 1960's farts and clowns) but in my book that renders me as HAVING A BRAIN and not acting like a pussy on a public message board.

JMO-- now go cast that stupid egyptain eye bullshit avatar at someone else.

Are you guys serious?

Mediawhores don't care about being tough on ANY candidate. Mediawhores just want to sell papers.

Don't worry. Barack will be okay. This Rev. Wright thing shouldn't faze him at all.

And if the Rev. Wright incident does really bother him, then he should quit the race today cause that would mean Sen. Obama doesn't have the right stuff to be President.

Is that what you all are trying to say? Sen. Obama is too weak, too sensitive, to be President?

it must suck for him to feel compelled to denounce the mentor and father figure he has been so influenced by. I'm sure their relationship has been damaged in these last few days. :(

on the other hand, politics is a blood sport, so he's gotta have a tough skin to deal with this shit.
