Bush makes 30th trip to PA.... IMO Kerry has this election in the bag
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/09/bush.pennsylvania.ap/index.html

"WASHINGTON (AP) -- Playing to his strength, President Bush is campaigning in the small-town Republican heart of Pennsylvania, trying to win a state that Democratic presidential candidates have captured in each of the last three elections.

Bush is taking a bus tour in a battleground state that has drawn more personal attention from the president than any other. He has averaged a trip a month to Pennsylvania this year and Friday's visit was to be the 30th of his presidency to the state.

Joining the president on the bus tour was his daughter Jenna, who was making her first campaign outing with her father. The White House said last spring that Jenna and her twin sister, Barbara, would campaign for their father after they graduated from college.

Registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by more than 400,000 in Pennsylvania and Al Gore won the state by 5 percentage points in 2000, yet Bush and Democrat John Kerry are tied, the latest polls show."

Kerry and Edwards will only get more support as people get to know them. What could Bush possibly do to get the kind of jolt that Kerry and Edwards will get? People know George Bush. They know what they will be getting and he hoovers around 45% in every battleground state. If he takes his 30th trip to PA and he's up by less then 5% points, I think he's cooked.

1. People know BS when they smell it.... Bush is full of it so they are
chasing rainbows.

The Pubs got the same ole tired message "Dems offer doom and gloom" and they got the answers.

But the spin is not working due to overuse... They have used up the credibility they once had...

Americans waking up to BS via F911 and Books by R Clarke, etc.

The BS ain't gonna work this round, this is it, passe, over the hill, over the top, downhill she goes....

\Toast, I smell Toast....

2. Saw part of his speech in PA
in an electrical factory to about a crowd of 50. Pathetic ramblings and blaming the house and senate for the war resolution "they had the same intelligence". Chimpy doesn't take responsibility for anything.

3. Conspiracy: The Pat Toomey challenge was an excuse for Bush to come to PA

Just a thought. Bush really needs to be sent back to crawford Texas... and take Rick Santorum with him.

6. PA is in the bag for Kerry
Unless Philly falls into the river. No need to watch any part of the state on election night but Philly. Kerry will win the state by the amount he carries Philly by.

7. I am getting so tired...
of these threads that seem to claim, four months before any vote has been cast, that it's already over and we have won. They are the most dangerous threads on here because they encourage complacency. Bill Clinton reportedly told JK that he should run as if the economy is booming, the war in Iraq was over and was successful and OBl was found and killed. We should do the same. As long as that man is in the White House and the media is in his pocket, WE ARE BEHIND. No matter what the polls say. Remember that and don't get too happy right now. Remember 2002? Everyone on here was boasting how we had it in the bag and we were destroyed. Learn from the past.
