Clinton and Obama supporters |

Many pundits and political leaders agree that by the first of June we will know our GE candidate will be. The pledged delegates will be picked and the super delegates will declare their choices and one of the candidates will have a winning majority of delegates.
I am an Obama supporter that will support Hillary if she has the winning majority of delegates. I will give to her campaign as I have Barack's campaign each month. I will work relentlessly for the election of a Democratic President in November of 2008. I have seen many statements by supporters of both candidates that they will never vote for the other if their candidate does not win. We can not afford another 4 years of a Republican president.
We can disagree on tactics that the different campaigns have used. I think way too much dirt has been smeared. I think too much trash has been spoken on DU. We can not be like the 6th graders that I teach and take our ball home and not play if we don't win.
Our country's future, and my grand children's futures depend on what we do this fall. The fate of our military depends on what we do this fall. Don't cut off your noses to spite your faces. That would be an immature act that could cripple the country for decades.

This evening I felt sick to my stomach:
I went to pick up some dinner and while I was waiting for my to-go order, this older guy, probably in his mid to late 60s, was leaving the restaurant. He said to his companion, "Obama is finished and Hillary is getting desperate, she's going to be on O'Reilly's show."
I wonder how many other people have been thinking the same thing...I swear, if we end up with another republican in the WH, our country is history.
I have two sons and I don't want them participating in ANYONE'S "hundred year war."
Focus, people.....either candidate is better than the alternative! FOCUS!

Sadly, soon there will be the deluge of responses from both sides saying that it's not their side doing this or that.

3. I am not convinced that hillary is a better choice then McCain. |
|
As it stands now, if hillary manages to steal the nomination, for the first time since 1976 , I will not be casting a vote for president.

She'll drive us off the cliff at 75mph instead of 100mph.

We need a "sheepish" icon. :)
I think Obama will be driving the same speed, if that makes you feel better. ;)
