I made 125 phone calls for Barack Obama...

- I found 7 volunteers willing to go to North Carolina and help out.

- I found 6 people to help phonebank.

- I identified lots of Obama voters, only one mentioned Wright - she said she hoped he said something soon. While we were on the phone, literally, I was scannng DU headlines and saw the *** OBAMA ON CNN RE: WRIGHT *** thread. I told her and we were both so excited, we got off the phone to watch. I'm sure her fears were put to rest..

This is great news for us..it all had to be played out and now thanks to Wright going off the deep end..Obama had to sever ties on a national stage.

29. I was given the link twice now

when I went to make calls. Maybe because I am on the national call team? I don't know. The second time, it was given to me by a local group to call from. I don't have it anymore.

If they re-send it to me, I'll post it. I think Crispini posted the link that brought you there once, too.

I'm glad things are picking up there. I spoke with someone from Howard who said she was looking into getting a bus and filling it with students who wanted to volunteer, since classes are done there.
