Exclusive: Kerry/Edwards Interview - 60 Min

After the just-announced Democratic ticket wraps up four days of campaigning in key battleground states, the two candidates will go before the 60 Minutes television cameras.

Rivals this winter in the race for the Democratic nomination for president, Sens. John Kerry and John Edwards will appear with Correspondent Lesley Stahl in their first joint television interview.

Stahl will talk to both candidates and their wives, Teresa Heinz Kerry and Elizabeth Edwards, in Edward's home state of North Carolina, after the two wind up a campaign swing through Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, New Mexico and North Carolina.

Now is the time for Kerry/Edwards to define themselves. In spite of all the millions Smirk has spent trying to define them, he has not had much impact. Now the American public will get their chance to see "The Real Deal"

I think they should do more appearances together. They're both involved, clever women.
