Time's The Page: Michelle Obama to Address Wright Controversy Tonight In Interviews
Time's The Page has a banner headline saying that Michelle Obama will be addressing the Wright controversy in her interviews and appearances today. This is clearly meant to show the impact this situation has had on Michelle, and work as an emotional appeal to the American people. If done well, this will mark a clearer delineation between the Obamas and Wright that Barack touched upon on his yesterday's press conference.

3. And what nasty things you would be saying if ...
the name were Michael instead of Michelle, and this was the candidate's husband speaking up in support.

But Michele's a good wife and knows her place. Unlike Bill Clinton who has some nerve acting the supportive wife to his candidate spouse.

Hypocrites, much?

5. No hypocrisy at all, dearie.
First of all, no one has said that Clinton doesn't have the right to support his wife. He's been criticized for how he's supporting her, and Michelle has certainly come in for criticism for her words and the way she's playing her role. Convenient of you to forget all the attacks on her from Clinton supporters. Secondly, if Michelle were an ex-President, she'd receive extra scrutiny too. Frankly, I've rather enjoyed seeing Bill as a net negative for hill's candidacy.

7. I remember the Clintons going on 60 minutes and addressing
Genifer Flowers back in 1992. Seems like Hillary was very supportive.

SO what's your beef, exactly?

10. and yet Bill still couldn't keep it in his pants. On the one hand, it shouldn't matter
on the other, he knew they were out to bring down Democratic party.

I think he gets off on danger.

14. I agree. Not sure why she's doing this.
I guess it could be a good move but it seems risky.

11. Barack and Michelle will do an interview with Meredith Viera on The Today show Tomorrow
A VERY smart move. Lets them get personal on this about how hurt they were.

13. Oh, so it's not the Hillary camp keeping the Wright controversy going?
It's the Obama camp. Nuff said.

17. Probably too much said
Do you honestly think that this story was going to end with Obama's speech yesterday? What's wrong with them telling how this story impacts them. Oh, I know Obama=bad Clinton=good. If it were the Clinton's they would have done the same thing just like they did with Jennifer Flowers.
