2. Thanks, JI7. It was indeed, an incredible review! Here it is, in part.

I'm so glad I got to hear and see Kerry and Edwards, especially Kerry. The media SO distort him, make him out to be a Botoxed frankenstein, or something, while he actually has a smile that, like Edwards', could melt the polar ice cap. He's very composed, very approachable, and seems appreciative and grateful of what Edwards can bring to the campaign.

Of course, Edwards is AMAZING! And they BOTH addressed our multicultural audience in Spanish, to the ABSOLUTE DELIGHT of the crowd. We all laughed at Kerry's statement that the question of who should be VP was even more important than, "Red or green?"

Ya gotta see this roadshow if you can! It's amazingly cheerful and folksy. And probably most surprisingly, neither Kerry nor Edwards mentioned *Bushya, *Bushya's Black House, or anyone else in the administration/cabal. This was purely uplifting and feel-good, which is quite a relief after the tons of horseshit we've had shoveled on us day in and day out since the Pretender moved into our House.

Way to go, New Mexico! Thank you, Governor Richardson! Let's move that son-of-a-bush out of Washington!

3. What a wonderful shot! Thanks for posting it.
Isn't New Mexico listed as one of the battleground states?

4. Yes indeedy
It went to Gore last time, but by a very tiny margin. However, the fact that the Repukes can't count on NM and AZ as in the bag anymore is a cause for rejoicing! I'm sure any day now we'll here handwringing about "Why are Republicans losing the Southwest?" NOT.

5. Yes. Here is a link from ABC news on the potential battleground states.
http://www.abcnews.go.com/sections/us/WorldNewsTonight/battlegrounds_poll_040422.html

Potential Battlegrounds

Most of the 17 states were relatively close in 2000, when Al Gore won the popular vote (and nine of these states), but Bush won the Electoral College. But six of them weren't all that close — decided by five percentage points or more. This year, they're best described as "potential" battlegrounds; some may not be.

It's a misnomer to call these all "swing" states, because that suggests they swing between Democratic and Republican majorities in presidential races. Some do: from 1976 to 2000, Ohio and Michigan each had four Republican winners and three Democrats, and Pennsylvania favored four Democrats and three Republicans. But others don't: Minnesota has had seven straight Democratic winners. Arizona has voted for a Democrat for president just twice since 1948; New Hampshire, just three times; and, before Bill Clinton, Nevada hadn't backed a Democrat for 24 years.

The other states on the list are Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Five of them — Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, Oregon and Wisconsin — were decided by less than one percentage point four years ago, with Gore winning all but Florida.
