1. What needs to be done, is explain to the self interest crowd

that everyone benefits from good mass transit, even if you don't use it. It takes cars off the roads and saves fuel (lowering prices).

6. Hillary is making a "contribution" to public transportation in our town today.

She is holding a rally at the hub of our community's bus system. As a result, the office there will be shutting down, bus transfers will be moved to another location, some lines are being re-routed, and some stops are being cancelled altogether.

No doubt she'll be able to find a spot to park her limo.

What an eye opener. Nothing like seeing public transport that really works first hand to really drive home the point for us. Where do I sign up?
