Who is tired of the Media pontificating on "whether the story will continue" even as THEY push it!?
It is all so ridiculous.

Elite media pundits acting as if they can "read the minds of the American people" -as if there were such a thing to begin with.

But what really makes me sick is hearing them pick the Wright thing apart continuously and to have the nerve to stand there and smarmingly wonder outloud "whether or not the story will continue"!

What has become clear to me more than ever since Obama's statement on Wright yesterday, is that the Media have CREATED the story that they are reporting and they are fueling it in a daring and obvious way.

I always thought that one of the tenets of the 4th Estate would be to stay out of the story that they are reporting on. That is objective reporting, not inserting yourself into the story. The "media" companies (corporate media whores to be more specific) have completely created this story.

In fact, they entered into Barack Obama's church, a place they had no right to go into in the first place and drove a racial wedge between Obama, who is running to represent ALL of the American people, and Wright, who was preaching to a smaller target of African-Americans in a completely different stage (Church sermon VS. Presidential campaign). It is an attack on Obama that appeals to the very lowest common denominator.

Yes, Obama did what he needed to do. But he only needed to do because it was the Media Whores that made a story, fed a story, inserted themselves in the story and lapped up the money at the Democratic Party's expense.

They learned a lot from the EMBEDDING process of the Media Whore driven "Iraq War". And we all forgot alot.

Media fairness went out the window and never came back. Now it is on a Presidential scale though.

2. The story would never have been a story if they didn't Pastorbate over it to begin with--
and it would stop as soon as they stopped jacking off to it now. They no longer report the news, they create it.

3. Exactly. There needs to be an election about the media.
And the American people should have a say in who and what information is packaged for us as "news." The whoring among these corporations is so blatant at this point that few of them deserve to even be issued press credentials. They don't serve the American people - they serve themselves. I'd much rather candidates purchase infomercial time to present their cases than continue to have their campaigns filtered through the politically-driven unprofessional dittoheaded "mainstream" companies who are obsessed with dictating to us what to think.

4. They are OUR AIRWAVES. The money that is taken from them should be OUR money.
But instead they are used to control us.

FZ said it:

I am gross and perverted
Im obsessed n deranged
I have existed for years
But very little had changed
I am the tool of the government
And industry too
For I am destined to rule
And regulate you

I may be vile and pernicious
But you cant look away
I make you think Im delicious
With the stuff that I say
I am the best you can get
Have you guessed me yet?
I am the slime oozin out
From your tv set

You will obey me while I lead you
And eat the garbage that I feed you
Until the day that we dont need you
Dont got for help...no one will heed you
Your mind is totally controlled
It has been stuffed into my mold
And you will do as you are told
Until the rights to you are sold

Thats right, folks..
Dont touch that dial

Well, I am the slime from your video
Oozin along on your livinroom floor

I am the slime from your video
Cant stop the slime, people, lookit me go

5. Exactly. They ask, "Does this story have legs?" as they are running with it.
Someone could do a great political cartoon on that.
