When the exit polls show 90% of white people in KY voted for Hillary, will they say the same thing? |
|
They did about black people in Mississippi? Will they IMPLY that it was a RACIAL vote? Or will the racism of some white people be excused in the media ONCE AGAIN?
I look forward to the punditry on that day.

1. They'll probably say the same thing... |
|
that Obama supporters say when 90% of blacks vote for Obama. Anyone who thinks that race has nothing to do with voters' (black or white) choices is not living in the real world.

3. Black voters have been voting for white candidates for decades |
|
ergo it's a mistake to say that they aren't voting for Clinton out of racism. White voters in Ohio who said race was a factor in their vote overwhelmingly voted for Clinton. It is reasonable to assume racism is a factor.

6. So are all whites who don't vote for Obama racists... |
|
or is it possible they just don't like him? I voted for Richardson in Oklahoma (yes, I know he had already dropped out by then) because I couldn't stand either of the two candidates left standing. Am I a racist because I voted for the hispanic candidate instead of the black candidate? What about all the people who voted for Edwards or Kucinich? Are they racists because they won't vote for Obama? Isn't it possible that they just thought the others were better candidates?

whether or not anyone will pay attention to it is another thing. The race could be over by then, but they will still have a vote anyway.

Unless Obama can deliver a convincing knockout blow with a clear win in IN (not too likely, I'm beginning to think), this goes on. I don't see this ending until June, honestly, because no one has recently won in a state where they were not expected to. An Obama win in say, Kentucky or West Virgina, could be a death blow. Similarly, a Clinton win in NC would send Obama reeling.

voters?
any thinking person KNOWS that underneath the spin, those people are the RACIST voters at the worst and selfish voters at the best...spin-wise..
I would have more respect for them if they would just come out and say it..
