Just recieved my absentee ballot for the presidential primary. |
|
I'm wavering between Dean and Clark. I think Clark could mess up Bush's commander in chief campaign strategy. You know, all those uber patriot Bush campaign ads coming our way. But then I consider what the Repugs did to Max Cleland and the unemployment numbers. Perhaps I should vote uncommitted. By the way who is Fern Penna? I recognize all the other names but hers.

3. In the primary, agreed. The primary is your chance to vote your heart. |

The general election is where we close ranks.
I'll admit to some bias, but I'm backing Dean. There's nothing wrong with Clark, but I haven't seen him flesh out his positions as much as Dean has. I don't agree with Dean on every issue 100%, but I think he has a comprehensive plan that I'm comfortable with.

4. Since he seems not to have stated any positions on anything |
|
I don't think you have to consider him for very long.

5. If you want to beat Bush |
|
remember that Clark will run out of money long before Dean would, as he accepted matching funds (unless, of course, principle outweighs pragmatism for you) -And that Dean's campaign organization is more established and likely to be more effective in transitioning to a general election.

6. I think you should wait to vote |
|
since you don't have a preference yet. Closer the the election, you may develop a strong preference.

7. If you vote now, you could validate Gore's endorsement! |
|
Kidding of course.
but you could be the person to make all nine candidates stop saying "before a single vote has been cast." You could be, like, so cool n' stuff.
