What is it with Hill and Bill? |
|
The 'vast right wing conspiracy' funded by R. Mellon Scaife made their lives a living hell. Their friends
suffered by being dragged into lawsuits they could ill afford to fight. Now she sits down with Scaife to get
his endorsement? She allows Murdock to throw a fundraiser for her? Her husband is buddy buddy with
Bush I? Bill 'the shill' O'Reilly used to own (probably still does) a doormat with her face on it that he
told a newspaper interviewer he enjoyed wiping his feet on. I'm sorry, but who is advising her? The people
who watch the Fascist News Channel will NOT vote for her, will not vote any Democratic candidate.
However, by going on their shows gives them some type of credibility that they absolutely do not deserve.
Someone explain to me, what is the upside to this? Bill the shill will try to embarrass her so he can make
brownie points with his unibrow, knuckle dragger audience. You know, the blue collar, lunchpail Americans
who consider a college education 'elitist'. It is going to be a bloodbath Thursday. Obama should have
continued his boycott of faux news, but Chris Wallace is a minuscule better choice over Bill the shill.

A story as old as civilization.
They are now part of the VRWC.

3. As somebody here smartly stated yesterday, she is now running as a Reagan Democrat... |
|
Who, by the way, are Republicans.
Very sad. :(

4. When your campaign spends millions on focus groups and polls, |

I find it hard to believe she would go on an antagonistic venue unless her advisors told her it would benefit
her campaign somehow. I am just wondering at the 'somehow'.

5. I've come to the conclusion that the primary motivation of the corporate media to wage |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 01:19 PM by Uncle Joe
that eternal Clinton Witch hunt and keep dragging it out forever was as a back door strategy to keep Al Gore from coming to power.
At some point, probably after 1996, when Bill didn't need to run anymore the Clintons joined in.
Dick Cheney made it clear upfront after he pretended to search the nation of nearly 300 million over and selected him self as Bush's VP he would never run for President. Actually I believe Cheney selected Bush because of his name, the size of his state and his incurious mind made Bush a perfect puppet. I basically believe Cheney has been the de facto "President" in Shadow, he was the money guy.
The same corporate media that waged an 8 year witch hunt against the Clintons to get them out of the White House almost immediately started lining up behind Hillary for President while she was running for her first term as Senator! The irony is world class, the same corporate media that promoted every lurid detail you can think of regarding the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal except actual video footage 24/7, think nothing of making Bill Clinton our nation's very first First Gentleman, only they hate using that term, although it's most appropriate for the job as the equivalent of First Lady.
I believe Al Gore's strong advocacy of opening up the Internet for the people was the corporate media's driving motivation to do this. They wanted to regain their monopoly on information and all the power, money and influence that goes with it, and the Internet more than anything else threatens that. They knew Al Gore was too democratic in wanting to empower the American People's voice, that's why the corporate media could never bring themselves to give Gore credit for his vision and dedication to democratizing information. That's why they got so personal waging a near two war against his credibility/integrity with open slander and libel using such ludicrous B.S. as "Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet", etc. etc. Had this not occurred, I have no doubt Gore would've won in a land slide too large for the neocons to steal.

6. I am betting Bill-O will treat her with "Kid Gloves". The Rethugs know who they need to support now |

They would much rather fight against Hillary than Barack. Of course either one will wipe the floor with McConfused, but thats another story.

8. Nobody advises them because they don't think they need it. |

Honestly, who would they listen to? People with money. The Clintons were wonderful, idealistic, intelligent people who have allowed themselves to be almost completely corrupted by our political process.
