Most superdelegates in Congress privately back Obama
snip//

"Capitol Hill insiders say the battle for congressional superdelegates is over, and one Senate supporter of Barack Obama is hinting strongly that he has prevailed over Hillary Rodham Clinton," Politico's Amie Parnes and Josephine Hearn report Wednesday. "While more than 80 Democrats in the House and Senate have yet to state their preferences in the race for the Democratic nomination, sources said Tuesday that most of them have already made up their minds and have told the campaigns where they stand."

24. Blood on the Tracks is a damn good album
in fact it has a song which applies directly to Lil' Hilly

Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth,
Blowing down the backroads headin' south.
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your teeth,
You're an idiot, babe.
It's a wonder that you still know how to breathe.

18. So...
Obama is extending this contest when most of his supporters want it ended?

Obama could pull this switch on this today and start the GE tommorrow?

Nah...wishful thinking.

19. hardly what I said.
I pointed out that true to their word, the Obama campaign has been rolling out endorsements they said they had. Do you really think he only found out last night that Representatives, Capp, Hill and Braley were on board? No, he's had them on tap for a while. And it's interesting to note that the elected SDs are going for Obama. Both of Clinton's SD endorsements today came from unelected SDs.

10. Well, McClatchy surveyed the supers after Super Tuesday and supers OVERWHELMINGLY
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 01:00 PM by blm
were in Obama's column.

People expected Clintons to bow out gracefully since they have known about the McClatchy survey since shortly after Super Tuesday. They refuse to do so. THIS is why you'll be seeing more and more declaring for Obama PUBLICLY, whether it bothers Clintons or not.

11. I think we should not lose sight of what the SD's are for....
making sure we have an electable candidate. That's probably why they are waiting. I'm sure it has nothing to do with "bothering" the Clintons.

17. bzzzt. Obama is garnering far more SDs than Clinton, dear.
There's obviously something about her the SDs are less than thrilled with. He's received many, many more SD endorsements than hilly over the last 3 months. And it's continuing. He got more than hilly yesterday and got more than hilly today.

16. Clintons have been on top of supers like white on rice. They already FIND HRC unelectable
and a downer for many of THEIR RACES when she is at the top of the ticket.

You act as if they haven't conducted their own research and focus groups for their own candidacies.

Clintons have KNOWN it's over for two months. This all about Hillary2012, and those standing by her are only helping to assure that happens.

26. Proof of what? That supers are with Obama? I made the McClatchy survey post in early MARCH.
My spouse works in the newsroom. I know what part of the story that was edited out because Clintonites went batshit saying they were working on the supers and that more would be coming out about Obama that would force him out of the race - - so guess what - IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

Hillary got two unelected members.

And it ain't HRC.
