FOR T*W*E*N*T*Y* Y*E*A*R*S !!11!
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 02:54 PM by DearAbby
Obama has sat in that church and listened to endless sermons of hate (according to the media and Clinton supporters ) Yet Obama doesn't exhibit any of the this. His years in public office, He has never exhibited anything of the kind...HE HID IT WELL for all these years...Not one word, or action betrayed his anger, or intense hatred of AMERICA!

What a snake in the grass eh? :sarcasm:

I am so sick of this shit, we have more important issues to deal with. What the hell does Wright have to do with the failing economy, rising fuel costs, rising cost of EVERYTHING. What does Wright have to do with the War. What about the fact that Millions are still without healthcare insurance, or under-insured. What about the REAL problems facing this country?

Fecking distraction.

You never seem to pass those out to Obots, even though they've been doing a lot of crying, pissing and moaning the last few days over the Wright issue.

Maybe you ought to be an equal-opportunity banky dispenser.

Maybe you should consider the possibility that Obama supporters aren't as ranting and raving in their criticisms of Hillary, nor do they hide behind attacks on others as a way of compensating for weakness in their own candidate.

7. I hope the American People
are smart enough to shift through the shit, because we are wading in it. I expect better from Clinton, being a Democrat, she should not lower herself to the GOP level of shit-slinging. I have been so disappointed in her campaign. I hold Democrats to a higher set of standards.

She knows she's full of it. I want Obama to go after her harder but I understand his reluctance. I know Edwards would have been more aggressive but he would have been less constrained.

I'm tired of her.

23. Obama faces a distinct problem
people don't want to admit this, but Obama does have disadvantages if he were to attack Hillary Clinton, and it has to do with RACE...imagine a black man attacking a white woman? He has to keep the high ground. People also don't want to admit, even now in the 21st Century...A black man has to go 150% to have "equal footing"

The right owns the media and they deliver whatever message (distraction) they want.

It's going to be a tough fight, won at the grassroots.

35. Agree
It just gets frustrating. My day to day life. I don't wake up overly concerned about what people did in their churches last Sunday. My concerns are how to juggle our family's finances to make it through the month, and the next, and the next.

When is that going to be addressed?

9. No, we need more of this: Hillary " engages fairly gleefully after Mr. O’Reilly"

PORTAGE, Ind. – Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton said this afternoon that recent comments by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright were “offensive,” “outrageous,” “off base,” and “far out,” and tweaked Senator Barack Obama for making clear his own condemnation of his former pastor’s words on Tuesday – “finally,” she said.

In an interview to air tonight on Fox News’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Mrs. Clinton at first resists host Bill O’Reilly’s bait to criticize Mr. Wright – but then engages fairly gleefully after Mr. O’Reilly asks what she thinks “as an American citizen” when “you hear a fellow American citizen say that stuff about America?”

“Well I take offense at it – I think it’s offensive and outrageous,” she said. “But it is part of an, you know, just an atmosphere we’re in today where all kinds of things are being said, and people have to decide what they believe. And I sure don’t believe the United States government was behind AIDS.”

Mr. O’Reilly said he was disturbed to “see people jumping up and applauding when he says that, among other things, we’re the moral equivalent of Al Qaeda.” Mrs. Clinton replied with the following:
“Well Bill, that is part of the mosaic and diversity of America. People are free to express their opinions, and the rest of us are free to agree or disagree. And obviously on opinions like that – ”

“It’s hateful!” Mr. O’Reilly interrupted.

Despicable.

33. She is certainly burning her bridges
I had expected better from her, being a Democrat, and knowing what we have been through these last 8 yrs. These are clearly GOP Rove tactics. I demand better, I want better. Clinton is not showing me this. I will find it extremely difficult to vote for her, should she somehow wrestle the nomination away from Obama.

39. I have to admit
I was always ambivalent toward Hillary Clinton, I had never disliked her. She just didn't hit any of my buttons. I would defend her against stupid attacks, by the GOP. I hated the attacks about Bill's infidelity being somehow her fault. I had walked in her shoes, I too made the choice to remain married after infedelity (it didn't work out, with the trust gone) I thought I understood where she was, having been there myself.

But being a Democrat, I had expected better from her. Not this. With me, she could have gone up or down...she went down.

47. she sure is trying to play the patriotism card
"See, Obama's a liberal who hates America, and I'm not. Or he has a pastor and fellow churchmembers who hate America and I would never associate with such people." Seeing her there using O'Reilly to attack a Democrat sure makes it seem like she is running as a Republican. I hope Democrats are taking note. Hillary's a fighter when it comes to taking on another Democrat. Does she fight the M$M Democrat-attacking memes? Heck no, those are her weapons of choice.

He isn't running. Why are they relevant? Because the Media and others involved are using it...If you call it a high tech lynching, if can be seen as that. It is subtle racism. I dont see equal treatment of the other candidates...Have you seen the Pastors of the other candidates given this amount of media time?

They are placing hurdles in front of Obama. Why is that?
