has anybody compared Kerry's crowds to Bush's?
Kerry has been attracting huge crowds including 25,000 in Raleigh, NC--Bush had been in NC a few days before and he also was in Pennsylvania for a bus tour last week while Kerry and Edwards were attracting huge crowds in Pittsburgh and in Ohio.

Somehow when I see the Bush rallies on C-SPAN it doesn't seem like his crowds are anywhere near as large as Kerry's. Has anybody else noticed this?

1. Or enthusiastic
I watched Bush in PA on CSpan yesterday. That has got to be the worst Presidential campaign speech I've ever heard. It was actually fun to watch! And while CSpan chose to play the cheers from the crowd, I noticed an awful lot of "applause pauses" that didn't get much reaction. And some pretty tepid clap... clap... clap responses too. Those people were not impressed.

2. The chimp/Cheney so-called "crowds" are all
carefully screened repukes invited by invitation only. The handlers could never allow these guys to appear in public in front of an unscreened audience. Aside from security issues, they'd be booed and taunted off the stage.

3. Do they have to pay people to clap for him??
Those Bushies are notorious for scripting every last bit of a public appearance. A couple of years ago I went with a group to protest during a (very rare) W appearance in Northern CA...they only allowed protestors in one specified area, about 3 blocks away from the venue, and not even on the travel route to and from the event! They said it was because of the large number of protestors expected, but we all know it was to keep the protestors away from W. We need to restore free speech to this country!!!!!

4. I haven't seen a numbers comparison,
but my own observations indicate that Bush's rallies are full of brainless assholes and corporate sponsors while Kerry's are full of people pissed off about what Bush has done to this country.
