New Electoral college breakdown
Kerry 18 States 254 EV

14 States firmly Kerry 211 EV

4 States Leaning towards Kerry 43 EV

Bush 20 States for 183 EV

16 States firmly for Bush for 147 EV

4 States Leaning towards Bush for 36 EV

7 States too close to tell for 80 EV

6 States no Polls for 21 EV

http://www.dcpoliticalreport.com/CurrentPolls.htm

MOst of the too close to tell are leaning towards Kerry, Maine, Iowa, Ohio, Florida. for 58 Electoral Votes, putting Kerry over the top for winning in the electoral college even if BUsh takes all of the other states left. Giving Kerry 312 EV

Bush could take Nevada, Arkansas and Tennessee the other 3 sates too close to tell for 22 electoral votes and the other 21 Electoral votes in stas that have not polled yet (Though one of them Hawaii, is very very likely to go Kerry), AND Bush woulkd win 226 Electora votes at this time.

For the last two months, Kerry has held rather hefty sold leads in the electoral college, and has been winning the Clectoral College in almost all scenarios. No wonder Republicans are talking about trying to postpone the elections.
