Yet Another Conversation with a Republican Friend |
|
Actually, I'm beginning to think he's a Republican in name only...
His thoughts:
1) Choosing John Edwards was the smartest thing Kerry has done in his campaign
2) Likes the jokes about the hair.
3) The moment Edwards walks on stage next to Fuck You at the VP debate, the election will be over since Cheney looks like the boogeyman and Edwards looks "human"
4) Thinks Kerry/Edwards will win in Nov and doesn't really have a problem with that.

1. Kennedy/Nixon debate revisited |
|
I can't wait for Edwards and Cheney to debate. Cheney is such an ass and Edwards is, well, good-looking and well-spoken, I predict a debacle for the GOP. Dick's just not that eloquent (Mr F*** Yourself)or popular with the American people.

2. The debates won't happen. |

They can't take that chance. They'll make up some excuse; just wait and watch.

6. i just cant see cheney making it that far; i dont think he will be vp |
|
by the time the debates roll around in early october.
this guy will have some sort of criminal case against him either outright or pending. now the public may not be privy to whichever scandal this may be but it will be there in some form and hes going to be replaced. now how they will break this to the country i dont know but theyll think of something im sure.
though i think their real dilemma is who would replace him? there has to be some name recognition some of the contenders are pro choice which doesnt seem to work exactly, except perhaps guiliani but besides being pro choice i think he may be a bit too controversial, a couple skeletons that they wouldnt want played in the press but you never know
and the only way mccain would agree is if he knows he will soon be president. hes got too much of an independent mind to walk into the mess that he knows is the * administration. and he is right when he says he can do more good in the senate.
powell is one that according to the newsweek poll would at this point beat k/e. i dont know i cant see powell agreeing to it because he knows it would just be one huge punk'd episode. after ignoring him AND using him for 4 yrs i dont know that he would agree to it
anyone else thing of viable alternatives because i just cant see tricky dick staying on the ticket long enough to debate edwards
