Another CNN stat I just heard
that in 2000 among the Christian coalition 85% voted for numbnuts while 13% for Gore.CNN just reported that as of right now it's 73-25 in favor of dickless,he's lost 12% of his base.Lets keep chipping away at those numbers and maybe,just....maybe we'll win this thing regardless of whatever shenanigans they will most definitely be pulling come November.

2. The base is upset because
with all 3 branches of gov't we're still not a theocracy. They thought that it would be a cake walk when they owned all of the fed gov't.

They actually believed all the BS that the repukes were slinging around during the 2000 election. Little did they know that GWB was only for the corporations, screw the religious base. Cal Thomas admitted as much a few years back - he recommended that the religious right get back out of politics because they were just being used to support corporate whores.

3. There was a similar column in the NYT print edition yesterday
Basically said that they are disappointed shithead hasn't done more: same sex marriage, faith based initiatives, etc.

4. Actually more than 12% of his base lost
12/85 = 14% of the 2000 "base". Great news.

5. Which is why they are pushing
the Defense of Marriage Act right now. Trying to get their base back, even at the risk of losing the swing voter.

6. We must've been watching at the same time
because I heard those facts too. Pretty interesting.

I think some of it has to do with people who feel Shrub has failed.
I also believe though it's because both Kerry and Edwards are faith based individuals, it's just with the DEMS they are not so "in your face" like the Repukes are about there faith.

I'm so sick of this bullshit that Kerry-Edwards can not win the South or in the Midwest b/c they do share the same values than the Repukes do.

Kerry-Edwards have more values, class and faith in their thumbs than the entire Shrub administration has in their entire bodies combined.
