Democratic National Committee on Tuesday released its lineup of the big-name politicians speaking at the convention this month, and it contained every major Democratic star except one. There was Bill Clinton near the top. Al Gore was there too. And so was Ted Kennedy and a few others. But Hillary Rodham Clinton was nowhere to be found... WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ABOUT THIS?

If he wants Hillary- she will speak, if not, she won't. I won't let a new poster deflate my excitement about this ticket.

your excitement towards the ticket. She raised over 10 million in one day for him. Anothe 10 in two emails for him. If he doesn't choose her, its because hes worried she will steal the spotlight. But I do like the ticket. Be happy there is a new poster..........it should make things more fun.

Like it or not, she's a lightning rod for every right-wing nutcase in the USA. She plays well in New York, but she's box-office poison in flyover country.

I mean, yeah, you've got to have Bill because we all (or enough of us) love him, and it harkens back to the good ole days when everyone had jobs and the rest of the world liked us, but Hillary might be too much. I mean, I dig her, and I never quite got all the frothing at the mouth at the RWs did over her (what the hell was that, anyway?), but I don't have a problem with her speaking.
Plus, you know, she'll have her turn. Sooommeedayyyy....

shes not just a Junior Senator. Has your average Junior Senator been awarded an Emmy? Been named "2003-4" Most Admired Women -- Think about it.... Blanche Lincoln - Hillary Rodham Clinton? Jon Corzine - Hillary Rodham Clinton - Tom Daschle - Hillary Rodham Clinton - Nancy Pelosi - Hillary Rodham Clinton - The names just don't compare. They never will either.

most Liberals like Hillary, but we dont get all hot & bothered over her like her enemies seem too.
She's cool, but the best thing about her is that she pisses off, and thus confuses Republicans.

I agree about Kerry. That would be great. But Edwards over Hillary? You have GOT to be kidding me. I like Edwards, don't get me wrong. I voted in the Virginia Primary for him. But he will never ever win a primary over Hillary. Thats just common sense. The world will be ready for a Women President in '08 or '12.

Dean maybe Chair of the Party. He has had his chance. He will never be President of the United States. I am sorry but thats the truth. Thats just the way the system works. I like Dean, he speaks the way the rest refuse to, and people use it against him. Which sucks. But I think he will do an outstandting job leading this party in the right direction.

My site is votehillary.org I am the 18 year old that tried to get Hillary Rodham Clinton to run for president all of last year. Look me up on google. Search Draft and (then) 17 year old trying to get her to run. So of course I am going to have a website on my profile (votehillary.org) but that site now links to friendsofhillary.com because im not trying to get her to run. I just am a giant supporter.

Your link is NOT to Hillary's homepage. Your link was orginally to YOUR web page and now you've changed it to direct people TO Hillary's homepage. Don't pull that crap. Your site that was up the other day had links to RW sites. http://www.friendsofhillary.com/ - THAT is Hillary's website. http://www.votehillary.org - That WAS the link to YOUR site.

She's coming perilously close to a DINO, she's leaning more and more to the center/right each day. I don't trust her to be in a leadership position, but then look at the worthless party leadership we already have.

this election. Sorry to say this, but's it's true. Crossover voters will run away rather than align themselves with the Clintons. I think we would be wise to let this topic go before it divides us. I say, grin and bear it for the good of the party. Remember, this a NEW team for a NEW America.

A run in 2008 if Kerry doesnot win, but really expected that she would be ready to run in 2013 after a second Kerry win if he does win. If Kerry had selected someone older for VP, like Gephardt, the odds of that person running for President in 2013 would be unlikely, clearing the way for her to run in 8 years, in her early sixties. If Kerry wins, then Edwards becomes heir presumtive for the next Democratic run, putting a crimp in her plans.
Which were not bac plans, as almost all polls showed Hillary blowing Dean out of the water when Dean was in the lead if she cane in for a run now, and showed her doing better than Kerry after Dean left the race if she decided to run. But her chances of winning this time around were less than Kerry's, and it is too close to Bill's administration to prevent the Bush administration from using the events of the impeachement against her candidacy had she run row.
I think that even after a Kerry Administration with Edwards as VP, Hillary would do better in polls that Edwards would if she decides to run in 2013, but this would mean opposing the candidate who would be the mostl logicial to run after Kerry. So in a sense, Kerry selecting Edwards has had an extremely adverse effect on her plans to run for the Preisdency. If she opposes a sitting voce-president for the nomination, problems with the party.
