1. I love the accountability quote....
Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 03:26 PM by dietdpfan
I mean, how long does it take to figure out that * is a lying, cheating war criminal who should be arrested and tried in court?!

We need to continue to hold *'s feet to the fire!

I hope Edwards speaks this courageously in other campaign stops! I don't doubt that he will. I'm so energized now that he has joined Kerry!

"What we need in the White House is somebody who has the strength, courage and leadership to take responsibility and be accountable not only for what is good, but for what is bad. That's what John Kerry will be," the North Carolina senator said.

4. And ya know the irony?
I think the American people are very forgiving, probably too forgiving. IF Georgie Porgie would admit mistakes, take responsiblity and the rest he probably would be much harder to beat in November.

But as Dana Carvey would say in his best Bush 41 voice,"Aint gonna happen."

7. I hope you are wrong....
Even after Fahrenheit 9/11 and the plethora of information that has come forward about *'s crimes...if the American people still forgive him, I will go off on someone.

Well, I won't get that bad, but I will start looking into moving out of this country. I'm so sick of this crap.

5. Go Johnny Go!!!!!!!
It fills me with hope and optimism and pride to think that we could be fortunate enough to have Kerry and Edwards leading this country after the nightmarish past 4 years.

8. error in article?
I'm thrilled about Edwards' oratorial talents! :)

However, the article states the following, which I think is wrong:

"Iowa, won by Bush in 2000 by about 4,000 votes out of more than 1.3 million cast, is a crucial state again this year. Bush is making a strong push to recapture the state's seven electoral votes in November."

I'm pretty sure Iowa went to Gore in 2000 - or am I all wet?
Here's an electoral map: http://www.sptimes.com/election2000/map.shtml

I know we only have 7 electoral votes, but it's embarrassing to think Iowa went to Bush!

btw - I rated the article a 5, but sent a correction request to Reuters.

- thanks

Eep - I was right - and Rueters has corrected the article, which now reads:

"Iowa, won by Democrat Al Gore (news - web sites) in 2000 by about 4,000 votes out of more than 1.3 million cast, is a crucial state again this year. Bush is making a strong push to capture the state's seven electoral votes in November."

:)

(is it ok to reply to myself?)
- thx

16. Nice sounding chaff
He sure did fluff Tony Blair, though. I certainly wouldn't call it an "attack" by any stretch.

If it was an attack it certainly was a circuitous one; One made by egrandizing Kerry and Blair.
