Maria Shriver to Attend Dems' Convention
Maria Shriver to Attend Dems' Convention

SAN FRANCISCO - Maria Shriver, the famously Democratic wife of Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (news - web sites), will return to her roots when she attends the Democratic National Convention in Boston.

Shriver, a member of the Kennedy family, plans a low-key visit primarily to attend family gatherings and watch her uncle, Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy, deliver a prime-time speech to delegates the second night of the convention.

"She is going back for family-related activities — ceremonies that honor the legacies of her family members," said her spokeswoman, Terri Carbaugh.

2. A low key visit?
Gee, what a way to honor your family. Not only does she have bad taste in men, she can't even honor her famously democratic family with dignity.

5. Anyone who could be married

to a useless shitpile of DNA like Ahnold - and publically defend his unwanted sexual advances toward other women - sucks. She'd better lay low in Boston. When the cameras find her, she'll be booed.

7. Rose is being remembered
There's going to be some sort of dedication in Rose's memory - a "greenway" or something. I understand the hotel that's housing the Kennedy family is already being pushed to the limit with the high-maintenance of its guests.

I'm not surprised that Maria is going. I wonder if she's still a Democrat?

or at least refuses to say so publicly. I'd like to be proved wrong on this point, so if anyone can provide a link, go ahead.

10. if she wanted to show her independence
she would say "I support Kerry" certainly how could any true life long democrat support Bush? So what if her husband supports Bush--she has a brain of her own doesn't she? or does she.

12. I think she would probably say she supports the ticket....I mean
Arnold publically brags about how his marriage is between a liberal and a conservative.

She may surprise you all.

By the way and maybe some Californians can support this but I think Arnold is pretty moderate as far as Repubs go....at least that's what I hear, anyway.

13. Arnold's still a liar of epic proportions
He ran for governor saying that he could solve the state's budget problems without raising taxes. So naturally, the first thing he does is support massive borrowing, with the "promise" that the state wouldn't borrow any more money in the future to cover its deficit.

Well, the bills are finally coming due, and Arnold still insists that he's not going to raise taxes. When will this insanity end?
