Can Someone Answer A Dumb Question For Me |
|
CNN just had a graphic up that said that there will be 56 Democratic primaries between January and July.
I don't understand how that's possible. With the 50 states, plus D.C. - that makes 51. And I don't think all states are having primaries this year.
So what's the deal? How'd they come up with the 56 number?

6. They can't vote in our national elections -- not for Congress or President |
|
But the Democratic party permits them to elect delegates for convention, although not too many (the Republicans also have some primaries there). There is a Democratic party in the territories that runs in the local elections.
