Have You Seen ANY Positive Bush Commercials?
I mean, commercials that tout how good Bush is instead of how bad Kerry is?

I've seen a ton of Bush commericals, and they all start out the same way:

"I'm President Bush and I approved this message..."

"John Kerry voted for a bill mandating that twelve puppies be hit over the head with sledgehammers per week. If you believe that puppies deserve to be hit over the head with sledgehammers, vote Kerry. John Kerry - Wrong On Puppy Sledgehammering!"

1. The Republican Party, All Fear, All Negative, All The Time!
Never Forget The Face Of American Fascism
'THIS IS NO DIFFERENT THAN WHAT HAPPENS AT THE SKULL & BONES INITIATION...I'M TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE HAVING A GOOD TIME. THESE PEOPLE -- YOU EVER HEARD OF EMOTIONAL RELEASE? YOU EVER HEARD OF NEEDING TO BLOW SOME STEAM OFF?'

2. Early on there was that "Leadership" one
Where he used flag-draped remains to proclaim what a good leader he is.

4. LOL! The only positive ad I have seen was months ago and it was for
NCLB. I thought I was watching a SNL skit at first! I couldn't believe he was touting that program!

The ad following that was equally as funny. It was complaining that Kerry was (gasp!) against the Patriot Act! (Gasp again!) He wanted to let it expire! As if that is a bad thing!

I am finding the Bush ads hilarious. They REEK of desperation!

5. What irks me is we aren't seeing enough negative adds ....
from Kerry. He should be going after Bush and Cheney but all we get is non-confrontational adds about his character and how he's ready to lead. I'd love to see him get a little more down and dirty.

6. I like their ads. I would rather see them rise above the dirt.
I am tired of down and dirty BS ads. When people run them, you know they are telling half truths and have no record to run on.

17. Kerry needs to run a chickenhawk ad
Moveon.org basically did it for him and it was definately one of the better ads. When it gets closer to the election he needs to start questioning the patriotism of the neocon shit that we have in office.

8. One
The one with McCain that they used for just a couple of days. It was a good ad.

I don't expect to see many positive Repug ads. Karen Hughes is already on record as saying that negative ads work. They're desperate, and they are going to do anything to win. Negative ads are probably the least of it.

9. "cept that one was really about what a Loser John Kerry and John Edwards
are because according to the repug talking heads, "McCain was Kerry's first choice."

They have gone pretty low already . . . . the latest I saw was that John Kerry thinks it is ok to murder people and their fetuses. I can't imagine how much far down Karen and Karl are going to take us.

I've made a few fake Bush ads like this one:
http://www.kerrysupport.com/ads/purpleheart.html

I'll make a "positive" Bush campaign message where he personally knows Jesus and they are even golf buddies. America needs to have Jesus on our side and Bush personally knows him... a smiling Jesus and Bush together will be one of the images.

12. The funny thing is,
the Bush admin is going low/negative and then saying Kerry is a "pessimist." The sad thing is, unless countered, this will work, because Bush looks friendly (well, either that or he looks like a child molester), and Kerry looks like a corpse.

The GOP is doing a pretty good job framing Kerry. I hope our operatives are smart enough and aggressive enough to define our ticket before the opposition does.

14. Remember that post-Reagan love fest ad...
about "optimism". Bush was trying to co-opt the whole Happy Warrior Gipper-as-optimist thing but it was really just another attack on Kerry.

15. Zero - and see I lot of Bush ads here in PA
I think it's great.

This campaign is about the incubment's record and obviously he is running from it and trying to make this election about Kerry.

Sorry, but the election is about Bush.

19. What can he say??
Let's see, Bush's good qualities.

Got us stuck in Iraq, that won't work.
Lied to the country, that won't work.
Turned the largest surplus into the largest deficit, that won't work.

Get the drift?

21. Only the first Bush campaign ad
where he was talking about how he offers positive leadership or some other nonsense.

I was wondering this, what the hell is the Laci Peterson law? I have never heard of it...
