KERRY IS IN FAVOR OF VIOLENCE ON PREGNANT WOMEN! |
|
I saw my first, Bush campaign ad this morning.
Are you aware that Kerry is in favor of violence on pregnant women? YES!!! Thanks to this Bush campaign ad, I learned that Kerry actually missed the vote on a bill that would make it illegal to use violence on a pregnant woman.
WELL - that clinches it for me! I would NEVER vote for a person who FAVORS VIOLENCE ON PREGNANT WOMEN.
What kind of a person is that, anyway?

1. Glad your tongue is in your cheek |

Just a warning, put on your flame retardant suit.
Folks with low post counts who criticize the Dem candidate (even in apparent jest) usually get slammed.
Reason: conservative trolls log on here and run around disrupting until they are caught and cut off. low post counts and pro-bush rhetoric (often disguised as humor or sarcasm) are immediate tip-offs.
Just a friendly warning. Welcome to DU!

It automatically makes me feel that the freepers are at work at this forum when I see a flammatory subject line like that.
Hope it's just friendly fire, and I do believe it is.

2. The irony of this ad is that the bill didn't give a rip about the |
|
violence on the woman, but covered violence against a FETUS.
The way these people lie should get them all struck by lightning.
It's just proof there is no god.

3. Boy, they're really getting LOOOWWWW, aren't they? |
|
Oh, well---when you've got absolutely NOTHING positive to say about YOUR candidate...:eyes:
And now they're trtrying to say that Sandy Berger's misplacement of notes is a "national securtiy crisis". Sounds just like an old throwback to the scandal-out-of-whole-cloth-a-minute crap they pulled on Clinton, doesn't it?

What kind of Senator would attach such an obviously important and universal rider to an unpopular bill in order to pressure other senators into voting for it?
Whoever it is, they only see the safety of pregnant women as a tool for driving their own agenda, rather than an important issue in it's own right.

|
Here's something to chew on: how many unborn babies did Bush abort with his unnecessary war?

you make a good point Funk. You're right, we will never know how many unborns were slaughtered in Iraq thanks to the idiot usurper and Right-to-Lifers supporting the fascist need this point pounded into their heads.

7. Kerry needs a better response to this.. |
|
I'm expending too much energy lately having to point out the that the "Laci Peterson Bill" was a disingenuous trojan-horse attack on reproductive freedom. A commercial attacking "fetal personhood" and the deceitful Bush commercial would be helpful.
A lot of people are seeing that Bush commercial and assuming he voted against a "good" bill.

9. Let's think for a moment...would any politician say they were for violence.. |
|
...against a pregnant woman or otherwise? How could even the simplest of people not question this? If someone is unable to see "spin" written all over this, then they have much bigger problems than trying to figure out who should be president. Geez...the republicans are betting here that a decent portion of the American people are gullible idiots. Wouldn't that be enough for them to loose the gullible idiot vote? (Of course, how would they figure it out.)
