Poll question: I'm John Kerry and I approved this message |
|
Sometimes it's:
I'm John Kerry and I approved this message
and sometimes it's:
I'm John Kerry and I approved this message because ...
which construction do you prefer?

3. I like the "because".... |
|
..since it demonstrates the "why" of the message.
Just saying "I'm John Kerry and I approved this message" is simply complying with federal election laws.
Adding the "because" is a nice touch because it goes beyond what the law requires and communicates directly to voters why Kerry believes the message is important.

4. That's exactly my take on it. |
|
It's like a soundbite summation of the ad.
