The Clintons were great!! |
|
I did not watch it earlier but listening to both made me, again, proud of them and of Kerry and Edwards, proud to hear my leaders speaking like educated people, delivering clear, concise messages.

Loved Hillary's speech.
Liked Bill's reference to Edwards' looks, charisma, et al.:"I sort of resent him." :D

2. Also, his references to Vietnam |
|
when he said that Bush, Cheney and he chose not to go to Vietnam.
And his reference to his recent found richness. And I am really happy for them. I think that as presidents go, they came to the White House with really nothing of their own; they did not even own a house. They left saddled with huge amount of legal debt. So I am glad that they managed to pay all this, and then some.

5. Bill was Great, and Al Gore was great |
|
Hillary was ok. I don't really remember much of what she said, actually. I know that while she was saying it, I happily agreed, but unlike Al and Bill's speeches, there wasn't anything that stood out in my memory.
