How will the RNC counter Rev. Alston?
Who is that clown that claims to have seen the chimp at his National Guard post during the disputed period?

Will they have that liar give a stirring speech at the Bush convention, a la Rev. Alston, describing Bush "reading magazines" or whatever he supposedly recalls seeing Bush doing?

3. Does Bush have any friends
who can string together two sentences? After such a rousing speech by Rev. Alston, who on earth from the RNC can compare.

First, one must have something of interest to say about Bush and I don't mean how many beers he used to be able to drink.

7. I was waiting for someone, anyone to say something about Alston
I didn't hear a word. It makes no sense, it was a fantastic speech by a non-politician.

And they still have the nerve to talk about how "boring" conventions are.

8. I just searched through156 AP photos....
I wanted to post a pic of Rev Alston and couldn't find a single one on the AP slideshow about the convention. Most of them were Clinton pics of course and there were more Patti LaBelle pics than neccessary, but not a single one of Rev. Alston.

How screwed up is that? Pictures of every speaker, including the woman who spoke about losing her family members on 9/11, even the violinist who played Amazing Grace, but NONE of this guy. Doesn't make any sense to me.

5. Rev. Alston's presentation should have been seen by all Americans -
Unfortunately, it wasn't....I was so pissed off last night...I had CNN on and was getting nauseated by all the "self-important talking heads" and decided to flip the channel...MSNBC-nope more talking heads, FAUX News-nope more talking heads, and then C-SPAN - there was "live" (while on the before mentioned cable networks they just had the empty talking heads - making me assume there wasn't anything going on but sound tests) a black man who served in Vietnam with John Kerry by the name of Rev. Alston....as I started listening to this man, I thought "wow" - some amazing things he is sharing about John Kerry - everyone should hear this...then I realized, that most Americans "tuning" in, wouldn't because of the so-called "media"....they are so self-important and full of Sh*t, but who are they to determine "well, this guy isn't impt, I think that we should just "talk" now and the American public is better off to see us, not this guy Rev. Alston....

Another thing that hit me - The Bu$h Campaign doesn't have a Rev. Alston...short of perjury, there is no one that they have that can speak about Bu$h this way - either in "service" or in general...

6. unfortunatley
there are plenty of vets who don't like kerry.
too many conservatives have knee jerk reactions to ''liberals'' -- and that includes vets.
be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.

12. The ad with Rev Alston that they used in the primaries was really good
but that speech was amazing. I hope they can give him even more exposure going forward.

16. Bush and NG
Doonesbury still has the $10,000 reward for anyone with evidence supporting dumya's claim to serving in the Alabama NG. It's been there about 6 months and no one has come forward.
