Let Michael Moore speak!!! |
|
Geeeezus! He's already there, let him speak! What does that say about our message?? That we are afraid of the Bush mafia? That we don't believe what we say? We had better stand in unity or be torn apart by our differences. Michael spent hours and hours of hard work, effort and the DNC is dissing him?? What are we afraid of? NOTHING!! Storm the gates and free the truth! America needs the truth! Let us be the party generation that tells it like it is!! I am so sick of "going to the middle" during a convention, it is time for us stand up for what we believe! Damnit, I am pissed.

3. Is the Texas media trying to silence Moore? |
|
No surprise that they'd be captives of the Bush family cabal.

4. He really should speak! |

MOORE SHOULD SPEAK BECAUSE HE SPEAKS FOR ALL THE MILLIONS OF ALIENATED CITIZENS WHO DON'T TRUST EITHER PARTY AS WELL AS FOR PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS.
I bet he would be speaking there if "Fahrenheit 9/11" came out a month earlier...by the time that phenom was to big for the Democratic brass to ignore, the convention was all planned. Still, someone should at least have given him a warm invite to participate as a journalist, which he certainly is.

5. Going to the middle? Didn't you listen to Pres. Carter? |

He said what Moore would've said, only way more eloquently and gracefully. Moore would've just ranted and annoyed people like in his Oscar speech.

As soon as MM is accepted into the upper ranks of the Dem party he is completely neutralized. We need him to remain an outsider who is unafraid to tell the truth as he sees it. The last thing anyone needs is for him to appear to be buddy buddy with the DLC. He's a pariah and should remain so - I love him for it.

Moore has often attacked the Democrats from the left in his books and in his movies.

10. Moore is not the best representative |
|
While he is an interesting media figure, I know that myself and many other Democrats find him to be an insufferable blowhard of limited credibility. Just because someone is nominally on your team doesn't mean you necessarily want to use them as your representative. In fact, it is generally ideal for such people to work outside the party structure.
I mean, I'm sure that David Duke is a well-known Republican, but that doesn't mean the RNC will be inviting him to speak. One needs to distinguish between famous and infamous.

11. WHY? Which canidate agrees with him? |
|
Bush(?),Chenny(?),Kerry(?), or Edwards?
He wouldnt fit in well in either convention.
At ours , he would just ruin things unless he was put up there just to talk down Nader. Moore probabilly isnt the best party stooge plus he strongly believes in what he does.

13. I think the fact that he was prominently seated |
|
next to the Carters last night - as shown on tv is message enough. They're trying hard to keep this about Kerry, not how much Bush sucks. And you know there's no way they'd approve any speech he wanted to make.
