... although it encompasses some of the above choices.
MY HO: In for a penny, in for a pound. There is no 'next time', no 'maybe 2012 if McCain wins it', no 'someday in the future'.
This is IT for Hillary. Too many bridges have been burned, no exit strategy, no turning back to live and fight another day.
It's THIS TIME or it's never. So she's willing to do anything, say anything, use any tactic to get there - because after this primary, she's done - forever.

4. She's done with being President, but there is so much more she is capable of. |
|
Just being a Dem. Senator is a big deal in my book, especially if she's constructive and gets landmark legislation passed. She could be Gov. of NY, write more books, win a Nobel, work on the Clinton Foundation, etc., etc. No reason for her to crawl in a corner and die.

I was simply talking about her presidential ambitions. It's now or never, and that's why, IMHO, she isn't willing to let it go. This has been her life-long dream, and this is her last shot at having it come to fruition.

there is a chance she can convince enough super delegates that she is more electable. SHe may be hoping that there wil be some new dirt on Obama that starts swinging the superdelegates her way.
It's a long shot but it's all she has and she'll ride this out until it's done.

I'm just sayin. 'Cause it's like she is out to prove something to someone, but she is only proving to be a party wrecker.

9. Other. She got rolled by the neocons, again. |
|
They promised her something would "happen" to Obama and she bet the farm on it. Looks like a win-win for them, and she was a fool to think they wouldn't double cross her, but the sooner she disappears the easier I'll sleep.

10. I believe she may be trying to wrangle the VP spot... |
|
I really thought last night, she was done.. She canceled her appearances, and she was supposed to meet with super delegates, which I felt they would compel her to drop out... However today, whatever happened, she has made the decision to go on, and since our rules call for 2025 delegates, she has every right to continue.... It's politics and anything can happen....

Especially at someone else's urging.
She'll get out, but it will be at a time and place of her own choosing, not because she's being pressured by the media to do so.

19. She's gotten some money for hard core loyalists |
|
and usually the party helps, I can bet there are talks about that right now... not that anybody would tell you that is the case
But listen for the dog whistles, once they increase you know they are about to fold (Dog whistles, when hard core well known supporters ask the candidate to fold)
Not all will be taken care off, but quite a bit of it. This is not my first rodeo!

that for enduring the public humiliation of Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky et al her husband owes her his connections and his political clout and influence to put her in the top job.
Notwithstanding the fact that she is not a particularly good politician. Certainly she is not a good speaker. Certainly her track record on tough issues like health care is highly questionable, witness the monstrous collapse of her health care initiative in the 90s. And certainly her judgment in this campaign has fluctuated between inadequate to the task and piss-poor.
I want one goddam news anchor to ask the Me-First Senator Clinton to her face why her campaign had no preparations and plans in place post Feb. 5th.
I voted 'ego.'
