Teresa's speech-they all missed the mark |
|
what I got out of it was this; she reminded me and us of what we were and what we could be again. When she talked about the space exploration and the Peace Corps and how outsiders looked at us,it made me long for the greatness that is America again. What a great team and party this is.It might take two people to be what one John F.Kennedy was but hey it's better than none. She is gonna be a great first lady,a soothing mother figure to the whining baby that this country has become. Her quoting Lincoln was brilliant-our better angels whoa she's is good Thank you Teresa

It was brilliant...they are scared. I can tell by the fast and furious talking points that are out there.

5. I fell in love with her last night |
|
She gave a very moving, very poetic speech. I was so impressed by the way she nailed her detractors who have been playing the "shove it" footage over and over by explaining how much she appreciates the freedom to be opinionated and hopes someday people will instead call women like her "smart and well informed"! She's going to be a great First Lady!

9. She sold herself last night on the floor. She would make an awesome |

leader in her own right. I didn't realize she had marched against Apartheid. The only drawback was, with all the mentions of her prior husband, I would have like to see her express more of her feelings regarding Kerry. It gave the impression of a merger rather than a marriage.

I am desperately searching for a president who puts environmental concerns on the kitchen tables and not inside corporate boardrooms. A President who believes that the promise and entrepreneurial spirit isn’t just available to us to have “more growth” and “more jobs”, but a better life and better world.
Teresa’s commitment to the causes I hold most dear brought me even closer to this team. I am 100% behind Kerry/Edwards, but knowing we have this first lady to keep John on the path simply beacons us to get this guy elected.
