Anyone else just hear Joe Trippi on Stern?

He was great plugging his book, motivating listeners to vote. He was also totally paranoid. (like me) He seemed certain that anti-bush callers to radio stations definitely get their phone numbers put on a list. He said THEY will stop at nothing. Stern was great. Listeners were great. I didn't know Trippi was diabetic.

What he was referring to wasn't callers to radio shows, but people who are called by pollsters, particularly Republican pollsters. And this sort of tactic is NOT beneath the GOP. I don't have the links right here and know, but I know I've read of this kind of thing happening in the past, especially in low-income areas as a way to suppress the vote in close elections. They will spread misinformation (examples - they'l say be careful if you go and vote, because the cops are setting up roadblocks to check vehichle registration, etc.). I put nothing past this current crop of Republicans. They have shown time and again that they see democracy as a nuisance, and an obstacle to them gaining and keeping power.

he probably ascribes to the South Beach diet (or similar plan) .... SB is a great eating plan, actually developed by a MD for diabetics

from personal experience, I can recommend it ...
