Made the mistake in switching to MSRNC for
a minute before going back to Cspan. Anyway it was just long enough to hear a gloating Tweety refer back to 1988 backhandedly pooh-poohing the DEM energy as just another mirage as with Dukakis. Didn't wait around long enough to hear any "panelists" answer but a clever pundit could have fired back that the more correct analogy would be to Reagan in 1980 and Clinton in 1992, both energetic challenger campaigns against unpopular incumbents (sorry Jimmy...ya know I love ya but...). I mean what do these pundits get paid for...they can't or won't see what should be Punditry 101.

1. They are sorry and lazy magpies, taking their cues from one another
There is not a principled one among them.

2. The 2 seconds I watched, Tweety said Edwards looked like a vegan
How this is passed as legitimate news is beyond me.

3. Did Kerry kill Tweety's dog or something?
He has been merciless against them this week. Moreso than usual.

4. Did you hear the kid say to Tweety when he asked if anyone wanted to
ask Brokaw a question something to the effect of "Are you going to be as hard on the Republicans as you've been on the Democrats?" Tweety was like "On to you, Campbell.." Good for that kid, but Tweety, you're such a loser!

5. I heard that and it's obvious who Tweety
and the other GOP media shills are working for. They haven't got an objective bone in their whole body.

6. I heard the Today show this morning....outrageous!!!
I briefly switched to the Today show this morning at about 7:18, and Katie (or Matt Lauer) was talking to Rudolph Giuliani, and Rudolph Giuliani was doing pure Republican propaganda for Bush, bashing Kerry and praising Bush. At a time when they were supposed to be doing DNC Coverage!!!! This is just outrageous!!!

9. I saw it
I was very pissed. I wanted to right Rudy a letter and say that I voted for him at least once, I supported him, and then ask him when he became a partisan shill. I thought better of him... I no longer feel that way.

7. Remember that Tweety was CERTAIN that Gephardt was going to be VP
the day before Kerry announced that he'd picked Edwards.

That shows you how in-the-know he is.

8. This was nothing
Like the convention fo Dukakis.

In fact thiswas far more energetic and enthusiatic than any of the Reagan conventions.
