After A Lifetime of Preparation, Kerry Nails It!!!

I admit it - I was nervous. At times he seemed a little, shall we say, ponderous on the stump. I never doubted that he would make an extrememly capable President, but I was waiting for him to take it up a notch.

Stupid me, because Kerry always holds back until it counts. It counted, and he didn't hold back - he rocked!

Anyone who watched his announcement speech in Boston back in the day knew that he had a real fire in the belly, it just didn't always come across. But, damn, he was on fire tonight. Hit all the high notes, not a misplace note in the whole shebang. I have to put my socks back on, because he knocked me out of them.

The first ten minutes really scared me. Then Kerry got into his groove and the hour just flew by. He reminded me of Kevin Costner in JFK; calm, but achingly passionate and moving.

I don't mind slow, boring policy speeches; but I'm kind of a dork. But Kerry really nailed this speech. Great introduction to the American people.
