Poll question: Who is the face of the 2004 Democratic Convention? |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-30-04 09:44 AM by derby378
OK, we all know Kerry takes top honors here. But other than Kerry, who will you remember the most from the 2004 convention in Boston?
JOHN EDWARDS - "Hope is on the way" TERESA HEINZ-KERRY - First Lady or First Mom? Who cares? We love her MAX CLELAND - The ultimate victim of dirty GOP politics MEDEA BENJAMIN - Arrested at the convention for speaking out against the Iraq war BARACK OBAMA - Our first African-American President? BILL CLINTON - The Big Dawg's final howl? Don’t bet on it HOWARD DEAN - Only Kerry and Edwards got a bigger standing ovation DENNIS KUCINICH - Chased Kerry to the bitter end AL SHARPTON - The others only wish they had his energy

2. I wanted to make this one a head-scratcher |
|
I couldn't decide between Dean, Cleland, Sharpton, and the Code Pink activist.

Oh, yeah, who will be the Face?
Let's make sure the shrub goes biking before the convention. All those scars and bruises should look good.
Today, i tuned in CNN to watch him pontificate in Mizzo. Every word was slurred. This guy seemed medicated to me, even without those CHB reports.

8. I voted for Obama, but I realized I was wrong |
|
While I felt that Obama gave the best speech, and almost immediately added himself to the short list for future national tickets, his speech was seen by far fewer people than Clinton, Edwards, and Kerry. I really wish Obama's speech had been carried by the networks, and I wonder why the DNC didn't have Obama and Clinton speak back to back on the opening night. That would have been one hell of a one-two punch.
