Poll question: Will you support the nominee? |
|
I admit there's very little chance it will be Hillary, but she's still in it, so please respond to this poll:

5. It's more an exercise than anything. |
|
I'm talking to someone in another thread, just testing a theory.

3. I would never vote for neo-con Hillary Clinton for any office. You can "obliterate" that idea. n/t |

7. I would grit my teeth, hold my nose |
|
and vote for the person nominated....but I hope it is Obama. It will really be hard to vote for Clinton. I was quite neutral in the start. Actually I wanted Kucinich, but when he dropped out went for Edwards.
I can't believe the negativity of Hillary Clinton. It is very depressing and seriously undermines Bill's legacy. IMHO

8. I still think Kucinich should be President |
|
but I'll support whoever the Democratic nominee is by voting for them--and helping elect progressive Dems down ticket. This is a vital matter--as much as winning the White House, imho. So I would encourage everyone whose candidate is not the nominee to do the same thing I'm doing.

9. Wow...dicks on both sides of the debate... |

Shock o shocks....
We're Dems. We vote Democratic. If that's too much then leave and don't vote at all.

10. I'll vote for the nominee but I won't make a phone call or donate a cent. |
|
I'll also argue with the many Independents and Republicans that have told me that if not Hillary it's McCain. So far I've lost all of those arguments, but maybe that's because I'm not a true believer.
But no money and no legwork from me for Obama.
I have too many reservations and I'm not willing to reward what I see as execrable behavior by the campaign and especially the supporters. Besides, if he's really such a fantastic candidate and the great uniter and the bringer of new votes, he shouldn't need my help.

11. Your Poll to too rigid! |
|
I need more options.
Like:
"I will vote for both candidates" (...by filling in 2 circles on my ballot! Take that Mc/Romney!)
"I will circle the bubble next to the nominee, but I won't turn in my ballot." (May need that vote later if it is close...)

14. Yeah. I think I'm going to give my vote to my son and that option |
|
wasn't on there :-) not sure who he would vote for (he liked Nader at one point). Would be a good exercise for him - do some research and come up with reasons to defend your vote and I'll give you my vote. It will be my daughter's first election too so it could be exciting for both of them; not so exciting for me.

I'm an Obama supporter but will DANCE to the polls to vote for Hillary if she's the nom. I will do whatever it takes to keep McCain out of the WH.
