Kerry and Daschle asked McCain to be VP under Kerry in 2004...
McCain politely declined (losers?), but what did the Democratic "elite," two top Obama supporters see in McCain four years ago that we are not supposed to see today?

I'm waiting to see if the mainstream media senses more profits from one or the other candidate for the General Election. The one that isn't the media darling is the one who gets my vote.

Hillary Clinton is the candidate most capable of bring real (not the ad campaign) CHANGE. Special interests do not want her!

She's not the agent of "clean energy" who will deliver billions to General Electric (NBC/MSNBC) when they can build nuclear power plants. That is Obama whom they believe can sell it to the public. The fact that Obama chose Exxelon (nuclear industry) money (to fund his campaign) over nuclear waste-free water for his constituents. The $1000 check from Rezko for the next campaign when Rezko's tenants went without heat during a Chicago winter. Broke Mrs. Rezko financing Obama's side yard. Now that's change one can take to the bank!

1. Kerry has denied the VP was offered to McCain. And how can a Clinton change the political climate?

5. I heard that McCain wanted it and sent feelers to Kerry and it intrigued Kerry
for a bit but finally decided it wouldn't work. There is also speculation, though McCain has denied it now, that he didn't vote for Dumbya in '00.

7. tenuous claim at best...
http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C00E0D81230F931A25755C0A9629C8B63

snip:
John Kerry, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, has repeatedly and personally asked Senator John McCain, the independent-minded Arizona Republican, to consider being his running mate, but Mr. McCain has refused, people who have spoken to both men said Friday.
snip:
''It was always artfully phrased, but he asked him on several occasions to serve as his running mate,'' the individual said. ''He'd say, 'I don't want to formally ask because I don't want to be formally rejected, but having said that, would you do it?' or 'I need you to do it,' or 'I want you to do it.' ''
snip:
Aides to Mr. McCain did not respond to repeated requests for comment on Friday; his chief of staff, Mark Salter, told the Associated Press, which first reported the discussions, that ''Senator McCain categorically states that he has not been offered the vice presidency by anyone.''

Less than a month ago, Mr. McCain denied having even casual discussions with Mr. Kerry on the subject.
