The insensitivity towards the kennedy's is a part that should be questioned
You can parse her rationale for brining it up in the context of her remarks, and dispute the notion that it was intended as 'waiting in case the worst occurs to obama' but the ambiguity of her remark in and of itself belies a certain recklessness for the feelings of the kennedy's that I think many democratic leaders will find shockingly tone deaf at this time. You as the reader may not agree with that assessment, but given that she is appealing to this very group for her candidacy the most likely effect is a detrimental one to her campaign, today's reaction is any sort of indication in my view.

Before the 40th anniversary of that terrible day and the week of his Brother facing a tumor that may end his life. No excuse.

7. Thats exactly why it was prevelant in her mind..
she's talking about the time frame where campaigns traditionally ran past June..She mentioned her husbands and Bobby Kennnedys..So was Teddy for that matter. In 1980 there wasn't a Dem Nominee until Conventon night..

Bush and Gore were the outliners..as early nominees.

You people should be hanging your heads in shame for pouncing on people before you know what you're talking about. It makes you look ignorant and plain stupid!

3. I've been saying this since it happened & HRC supporters have shown nothing but vitriol
towards showing the Kennedy's the respect their service to this country has meant through the years, and what their family has given to this country, for all their imperfections, they were more a catalyst for change than any other long lasting family in American history.

Senator Ted Kennedy, my senator of 38 years just received the most dire diagnosis this week, just THIS week, and Clinton feels she can say this? About Ted's brother at THIS time? Nearly 40 years to the day? You do know the chances of Ted seeing the 41st anniversary is very slim?

No, people would rather just say it okay to say this, and to hurt people while claiming you are not hurting them.

WTH is wrong with people who do not see this? They have no heart and I fear they have no soul either.

6. O.K. I give up. Remembering RFK was assassinated is somehow
hurtful to Ted Kennedy? Huh? You think he doesn't know it or something?

10. No, disrespecting his brother by using his family's loss publicly for her own gain, that hurts him &
if you don't think so, you don't know his policies or what he has stood for, or how many regular people in Massachusetts he has helped over the years, usually medically related, or VA related.

But you don't see it, you don't get it

entire idea of "disrespect" made any sense whatsoever.
