If it was to be between Alf, Bu$h, or a 3rd. party candidate, like Nader, I would have to go with Nader.

11. Perhaps it's because he constantly supplies RW thugs |

with quotable quotes that they can then use to smear other candidates - mostly Dean. Hannity has been using Leiberman as a 'even other Democrats say <insert Leiberman slag here> about Dean' source for weeks.

17. No one here has questioned his right to campaign |

Only his execrable tactics. His entire campaign seems to be, "Dean sucks."

16. Lieberman might as well join the Republican Party |
|
You know he reminds me of a subtle version of Grima Wormtongue, the chief advisor to the King Theodon in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. A man who really was a spy for Saruman. King Theodon becomes weakened from the influence of Wormtongue. It's just like the how weakened the Democrats have become because of Lieberman and people like him.
You can take or leave my analogy.

1. If you start a thread in the General Discussion forum, you must present your opinion in a manner that is not inflammatory, which respects differences in opinion, and which is likely to lead to respectful discussion rather than flaming. Some examples of things which should generally be avoided are: unnecessarily hot rhetoric, nicknames for prominent Democrats or their supporters, broad-brush statements about groups of people, single-sentence "drive-by" thread topics, etc
Senator Lieberman is still a Democratic candidate.
Thanks, DU Moderator
