I am BEYOND sick of reading articles (like this http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/05/obamas_woes_a_tale_of_three_st.html) where the author basically says it's Obama's fault that these people are racist and won't vote for him.

That is the most ridiculous argument. Maybe the people in these states need to get a grip on the 21st century and crawl out from under the Civil War rock where they've been living! Anyone that says race is an important factor when deciding the candidate IS A RACIST!! (And I mean that for people in Obama's camp, too.) There is too much at stake to be more concerned about what color someone is instead of what ideas and values they have.

So, no, the racism is not Obama's fault and Obama should not be berated for being Black. Racists should be berated for being close minded and racist!
