Dear Senator Clinton, You said that you will work your heart out |
|
for the nominee of the Democratic Party to help ensure that a Democrat becomes the next President of the United States. Next week, after the June 3 contests, Barack Obama will become that nominee. He will have won the nomination "fair and square" according to all the rules upon which you and your campaign, as well as all the other campaigns, agreed at the beginning of the process.
Therefore, as a life-long Democrat, I expect you to keep your word. If you break your word and extend your campaign beyond next week, you will prove to the nation that you cannot be trusted. Please, don't screw up our chances to turn this country around for the better. Keep your word, and quit the race next week.
Sincerely,
Rateyes.
P.S. We've cut you slack up 'til now. For the good of the party, you should have already read the writing on the wall and graciously bowed out of the race. But, we realize that you have every right to remain in it, throwing good money after bad. On June 4, our patience runs out. You break your word at your own political peril. If you think the Democratic Party will succumb to blackmail and give you any kind of leadership after breaking your word to work your heart out for the nominee, you are sadly mistaken.

7. Of course she will. The Clintons just want to poison the well a little longer. |
|
They want her supporters so angry that when she does "work her heart out for" Obama she can play the martyr, making her supporters even angrier at Obama.
P.S. She has done a lot more than just remain in. Andrea Mitchell said today that Clinton is a professional and she will support Obama but she doesn't know about Clinton's supporters. That's what the Clintons are counting on. It's all about 2012.
IMO, this has NEVER been about counting MI and FL. It's just another way to anger her supporters.

9. Is it possible that she doesn't have that much heart left? |
|
She may be working her heart out, but perhaps she just doesn't have that much heart left. She's been through a lot and clearly hates Obama and his campaign.
