Hillary got more than she could have hoped for today. |
|
She will now get to count the popular vote in Florida and Michigan, without argument or asterisk.
And, she also got an issue with the (I feel) bad Michigan decision.
The SDs will need to put Obama over soon or this will turn out to be more divisive.

1. "without argument or asterisk." |
|
Argument one: Obama wasn't on the ballot in MI.

2. They awarded him the unpledged delegates, they should give him the unpledged votes. nt |
|
But I imagine that there will be an argument over that.

3. The Clinton camp has said they don't accept the MI delegates as legitimate. They won't |
|
accept the uncommitted votes, obviously.

5. Argument two: Not all the states had primaries. |
|
Edited on Sat May-31-08 07:56 PM by rocknation
Argument three: Not all the states had OPEN primaries.
Argument four: Four of the states that had caucuses didn't release their vote totals.
Argument five: One state had a primary AND a caucus.
Argument six: Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Virgin Islands and Guam shouldn't be included because they can't vote in the GE.
You're welcome.

8. I think that is mostly spin. |
|
Only 4 caucus states haven't released their popular vote total. I don't know if they are going to, but the networks know how many people voted in each election.

4. I think she knew she wouldn't get what she wanted but planned to use it for fake outrage |
|
to claim she was forced to take it to the convention.
