A Matyr for democracy-
That defense of the democratic process from Harold Ickes was beautiful. I was truly moved by the eloquence in his articulation at the RBC on the subject of fair reflection. Especially coming from a man who previously voted to strip voters of any delegates in the first place... it was all quite refreshing.

8. the way he put itall
was the if the Clinton campaign loses it is because of sexism, the failure of the democratic process, race card, reverse racism, elitism, unfair advantage in caucus states, basically the campaign's death is a martyr for just about anything.

4. His eloquence was also a reflection of Clinton supporters in general.

6. Yes, it was beautiful in its hypocrisy and in its consistency with the campaign.

12. That cracked me up, too.
I'm growing really fond of the whole MSNBC political lineup, with the exception of Buchanan. I even like Tweety lately.

11. you bet your ass he is
To use an even classier phrase: what a fucking moron.

Crying about a decision you made is what angst filled teenagers/babys do, in the real adult world you accept that you fucked up. Hell, you should be grateful that people were willing to undo a lot of your fuckup.

9. Yes
Ickes is also the one who pushed for a ruling in 1980 that pledged delegates weren't pledged on the first ballot to the voters of their states. He truly is a hero of democracy and the nomination process.
