I'm Waiting for Obama to Part the Red Sea |
|
Do you realize it yet? Has it hit you yet? Talk about a miracle! Obama took on the Clintons who were the fist of power in the Dem Party and who are cohorts of big money interests in this nation-- and he beat them. He beat the system. I think that alone is the biggest blast of "hope" I've seen in a long time because this country has been in such a death lock of the connected and the powerful that makes sure you are "one of them" or you are not allowed to exist is politics. I wonder if a lot of super rich people are getting a bit nervous that that "damn populism" might actually take effect this time. That scares them to death.

5. Yes, Obama did do it . . . but to be fair many people began this process in the Dean race . . . |

a way was seen for oridinary citiziens to get together to support a candidate against big $$$ --- they didn't make it then because of the tremendous attacks on Dean ---
We have to be sure that doesn't happen again ---

6. As close to a true grass-roots presidential campaign as most of us |
|
will ever see. Clinton starts off with a wide lead over the field. From nowhere comes a guy who isn't well known, is black in a race-conscious society, has a Mid-eastern sounding name when we are at war with a country over there. Essentially he starts with two strikes against him. He gets the kitchen sink thrown at him. And he wins. Now he takes his campaign against a well-oiled smear machine that controls most of the major news outlets in the country and a man who has almost infinite moneyt. I like Obama's chances in this one.

8. Obama showed us we could have done it ourselves all along. |
|
But just to be sure we now need to beat Clinton & McSame in the GE.
She is not going to Quit until Barack is defeated.
Its not about her, the votes or the presidency. Its about the oligarchy now.
