Terry McAuliffe slams Scott McClellan
Terry McAuliffe, the former head of the Democratic National Committee who now is chairman of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign committee, said Mr. McClellan was "wrong” to write the book.

"I find it abhorrent the way these people come out and write books about their boss. It made 'em money, it made 'em prestige, it gave them all this power and then they turn around and slap 'em,” Mr. McAuliffe said in an interview this week with National Journal.

"I don't care who it is — Democrat, Republican — it's wrong,” he said.

I don't agree with him. He is excusing lying and continuing to lie, never speaking up, NEVER blowing the whistle, just because someone gave 'them' power, prestige and money?

Do we need to wonder now why NO ONE DOES A DAMN THING ABOUT BUSH?
It would be "WRONG".

What a loser!

12. We will have to bring John Dean out of retirement.
We will definitely have to expand DOJ and utilize more than a few special prosecutors.

There is no way one man can handle all of that corruption.

He will need a loyal staff dedicated to the truth.

21. I hope you are right and I hope you are wrong
I hope you are right because justice will finally be done and it would make a lot of people like me ecstatic.

But I hope you are wrong because it would mean that the right wing cabal will have to try to kill him. I really do fear for his life.

Perhaps I am wrong and Obama is much more clever than we know and can pull it off with some help from the few good people in government.
Let us hope

59. One of Kerry's biggest mistakes in 2004
was letting this man run his campaign. He said that Durbin and Jones-Tubbs run it and then he backed down and let the slimeball do it. I don't know much about Jones-Tubb except for who she supports this year, but if Durbin had been running things, I believe it would have turned out different.

man, this guy is HILLarious. It almost seemslike hillarygives all of these guys a magic potion that makes that spout some really inane stuff (he's sounding so much like Karl Rove on this issue) it's sacry. He also seems to place primary value on loyalty, sounding like the people that are in the white house right now....Has hillary commented on this issue at ALL? I know obama has and it still seems to be the talk of the town, she's running for the highest office in the land, I'd like to hear her thoughts on it.

37. It is. We know the Clintons have issues with loyalty as well!
Look how they treat people who dare to differ with them. You are absolutely right. There would be much more of the same with these people. Coverups out of "Loyalty". NOT loyalty to our country, or party, but to the BOSS. Great labor relations statement.

42. The other thing it says is to whom he was loyal in 2000 and 2004
As the nominees,Gore and Kerry were, in turn, the head of the party. McAuliffe, as head of the DNC should have had one goal - electing them and other Democrats.

From this comment, we know that he thinks it wrong to speak of what happened when you were an insider. Yet his awful book trashed Al Gore and John Kerry. This means that he is either a hypocrite or that he still felt loyalty only to the Clintons. Maybe that was part of the problem.

64. Frank Rich nailed this crook six years ago
Check this out...

"Terry McAuliffe, the Democrats' chairman, has called Enron ''simply outrageous'' and declared that his ''heart goes out to the employees and shareholders who were victimized by a web of greed and deceit.'' Now we learn that he parlayed a ground-floor $100,000 investment in the Bermuda-based, Beverly Hills-situated telecom company Global Crossing into $18 million and cashed out well before Global Crossing went belly-up this week, after having never turned a single yearly profit. We are to believe it is Mr. McAuliffe's business acumen that landed him on that ground floor in the first place, not the buddy network he cultivated as chief fund-raiser to his president, Bill Clinton. ''If you don't like capitalism,'' said Mr. McAuliffe in defense of his windfall, ''move to Cuba or China.''"
